Our Claims Counsel investigate and manage the claims, and sometimes act as defence counsel, in relation to the 1,000 or so reports that we receive each year. A key component of the program’s success is the high level of repairs – we successfully repair almost 20% of all errors reported to us. LIF also manages the mandatory coverage for theft by lawyers. This remains a small but important part of our work.
